Sarasota County Health DepartmentSarasota County Health Department (SCHD) provides comprehensive public health services to residents of Sarasota County. It is a part of the Florida Department of Health and Sarasota County Government. SCHD offers a variety health services to county residents. These include our Health Centers (clinics), Immunizations (Shots), Pharmacy, HIV/AIDS and STD services, confidential screenings and tests, WIC, and others. Environmental Health services protect public health through Mosquito Management, public inspections, and more. SCHD also promotes health with Community Programs. From Health In Motion (our mobile medical unit), to Community Health Improvement Partnership, to Tobacco Prevention. These programs provide health services and information to the public.
