Florida KidCare

 

Florida KidCare provides comprehensive health insurance for uninsured children from birth through age 18.  Children must meet eligibility requirements to receive this insurance.  Cost is based on income and family size.  Learn more about cost & eligibility.

 

Parents or guardians can apply online for their children.

 

KidCare is divided into four sub-programs: 

  • MediKids, for ages 1-4

  • Healthy Kids, for ages 5-18

  • Children's Medical Services Network for children with special needs

  • Medicaid for low-income children

The KidCare website is available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
