SCHD's Tobacco Prevention Program is currently focusing on three priority areas in its efforts to make Sarasota County smoke-free through policy change.

• Eliminating Tobacco Products with Kid-Friendly Flavors
  Working to eliminate the sale of fruit- and candy-flavored tobacco products
• Smoke-Free Apartment Buildings
  Apartment & condo complexes and other multi-unit housing can save money and protect health by going smoke-free in all units
• School Policy
  Working to create one uniform tobacco policy for all Sarasota County schools
