There are several ways you can volunteer at SCHD:

• Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) 
  The MRC is a network of local volunteers trained to respond to emergencies and/or local public health needs.
   
  

• Interns
  SCHD is an academic health department offering a unique learning environment for students from a broad range of academic disciplines. Some internships are paid.

• Volunteer Health Services Program
  The VHSP gives another way to volunteer by promoting access to medically underserved and uninsured residents of Sarasota County.
• Volunteer Health Care Provider Program
  Gives providers a way to volunteer their services to medically indigent Florida residents.
